I think we need some serious documentary of the history of this competition. I have been, since i heard of this platform, always been interested in DBP. I would say it is one of my primary inspirations for playing XBLIG regularly, and of course developing on the platform.
We need at the very minimum, a Wikipedia page documenting the historic contest finalists. Everyone knows what the winners were, but many times the top 10(or 20) finalists are just as influential in the community. Whatever they are, it should be out there, so new generations of game developers can see the trends over the years. And reviewers and writers can make informed blogs when they talk about past games.
