I want to write a content processor which can split model into pieces with animation data.
For example; i got a model with 100 bones and i want to make model into 2 meshes with 50 bones each.
I got 2 questions now;
1-) How can i access vertices attached to given bone
2-) How can i create a root bone for each splitted mesh
3-) Is the idea possible or am i missing something.
The reason is; i'm nearly finished my mmo network layer and it interacts with sunburn perfectly, but i need player models to have more than 75 bone in them, if above approach is not possible, can you guys give me a direction to move?
